Venture Bros - The Monarch Symbol - FREE Colorwork Chart

This week I was asked to make a hat with The Monarch symbol it.

"Ok," I said. And I did.

It was excellent for breaking up the monotony of making bigfoot hat after bigfoot hat, that's for sure. And here's the chart! Feel free to use it for knitting, crochet, needlepoint, or whatever fibercraft floats your boat. If you do use it, please link back to this post to share it with the rest of the Internet!

For the hat, I actually duplicate stitched the pattern onto a plain black knit hat I made. I love any excuse to duplicate stitch and this was a perfect opportunity to do so. Duplicate stitch is my current favorite thing. There are tons of tutorials online. Here's a good one.

UPDATE 2/8/23: Formatting got weird when I change my blog theme and I have now fixed it!     UPDATED: 10/3/22, for clarity!   You can now get a printable PDF version of this as a PAY WHAT YOU WANT pattern on my Ko-Fi here .     The finished Fox is about 23" from nose to tail. My Friend Wilby FREE Crochet Pattern from Starfield!

  UPDATE 9/21/23: Bethesda rolled out an inferior Wilby pattern the other day, if you didn't know. If you'd like to compare it to my version, which is larger (I was shooting for accurate game size) then you can get that pattern here . I have been playing a great deal of Starfield. I am constantly encumbered by toys and potted plants. It's fine. Give me some pew-pew weapons, a spaceship, and let me collect cute plushies and plants for hours on end, which I'm piling in the middle of The Frontier because my cargo hold and captain's storage are full.
