DRAMA LLAMA!!11!11 hats.

Look at all these pictures! Everyone on the internet loves colorful images! Yay! Alright, pals. Scope out this original WoollyRhino (WRC) design. It is simple and exciting. There are llamas and exclamation points on ridiculous multi-colored backgrounds. DRAMA LLAMAS!

We have the yellow on Peruvian print or some shit with a small ribbed brim - this was a gift and is not for sale, but I can make another. Next there is the celestial blue on pastels. It is another snazzy pom pom hat, but has a brim with thicker ribbing to mix it up. Finally, the small, snug-fit beanie with chunky exclamation points. All hats are 100% acrylic. This means they are washable, but you may want to handwash to maintain them beautiful pom poms in their spherical shapes.

Custom Order: Ka and the White Dark Tower Beanie

I got this knit beanie in the mail yesterday for a fellow Dark Tower fan all the way in Australia! It features the Ka sigil on one side and the sigil of the White/Mark of the Eld on the other. Having not done anything with these particular snazzy sigils before, I had to make the patterns. This means that I now have the patterns to make more. I intend to. First I have to finish a few original design hats with llamas. Yes, llamas.

To my dismay, I can't make the Ka sigil any smaller than it is on this hat - it's pretty much the whole side. If it gets any smaller it loses a lot of detail and you can't really tell what it is. It actually started smaller on this hat, but I didn't like how it was looking at all. This looks much, much better. It would be great on a really slouchy beanie or a rasta hat or like a pillow. lol

Feel free to contact me about custom orders. I will, in fact, ship internationally. I hate going to the post office is all. I like to discuss shipping options with international customers as well to figure out what works the best for them. Contact me through my Etsy store or send an email to woollyrhinocrafts(at) I would prefer to use Etsy.

Tomorrow is WIP Wednesday! I'm going to remember too. I think.

Unfound Knit Skullcap Beanie

Finished! It is in the Etsy shop here. I'm very pleased with the revamped pattern that I tweaked for knitting instead of crochet. It is much more compact. I can also make this hat as not a skullcap.

I'm experimenting with different hat sizes so I can figure out exactly how many stitches I need for what. I gained enough xp to level my knitting up to 12. Unfortunately at level 12 I don't unlock any new skills. Soon I'll be able to make a cable scarf. That's the end of my knit rambling.

WIP Wednesday and I Didn't Miss It!

Moroccan tile is the best thing that has ever happened to me. Learn how to do it from Moogly Blog. I'm making a Moroccan tile Harry Potter throw. It will be four quadrants with the Hogwarts' house colors. I'm not sure about the border yet. I'll figure it out when I'm done with the big parts. I'm using the movie colors, obvs.

I'm also working on this Unfound hat. A knit version. I prefer it over the crochet version. Maybe it's the colors I'm using. The background is a light brown flecked with black and dark brown. The other color is a coffee brown with red, yellow, blue and green flecks - it looks magical and shit. I need to finish the crown, which I'm going to do today.

I also made a knit Crimson King hat and incidentally, I prefer the crochet version over this one. I was trying to make the top of the eye go all the way to the top of the crown and it ended up looking funky with my decreases. If I knit another I'll make the sigil lower and not try to get fancy. You can buy the Crimson King hat now!

Also did some work on the patterns for the first Beam scarf. Like a sensible person I'm starting with good ol' Bear-Turtle. I'm going to touch up the grids as soon as I finish this post. Unless you knit or crochet you have no idea what these grids are that I speak of, but whatever. I'm still not sure about the colors. Again, I really like the knit Unfound hat colors. I'll need to get more of the light brown. Hmm!
